Descobri esta tarde no YouTube um vídeo fantástico feita por um “caçador-de-tempestades”!

A favorite from this past summer…July 19th out on highway 191 north of Interstate 10. Always a struggle in that area to find high ground with good views, so I ran up a hill to time-lapse this severe storm and just had to make do with it. The downburst of rain/hail was incredible but later I found out that I got incredibly lucky with a bolt being captured on time-lapse, as my Sony's cable release port was on the fritz, so my trigger missed everything. Also insanely happy you can see where the strike lands. Definitely one of the cooler scenes from this summer, should be in Monsoon V which I'm working on now!

On June 12th, I broke down into tears. Minutes earlier, I had been outside my truck, leaning against it, head buried in my arms, frustration and failure washing over me. I wanted to quit. I got back in the car and as I drove, the pain got the better of me and the tears came.
