Recently Gotham Film Works took delivery of the first SHOTOVER K1 HAMMERHEAD Aerial Camera Array.
Over the last several years I’ve been specializing in long form, high resolution, large format aerial cinematography. For the first shoot with this new aerial array we rigged the system with 3X RED Weapon Monstro 8K VV cameras, which once processed creates stunning 100 megapixel motion picture images with a sensor size of approximately 645 Medium Format Film.
The resulting 12K by 8K footage is 48.5 times the resolution of HD 1080p and full of captured detail.
This is an 8K export of the footage. Best viewed in 4K or 8K full screen.

O Centro Nacional de Cibersegurança aconselha a tapar a webcam do seu dispositivo (laptop, smartphone, etc).
Há alguns anos que os especialistas em cibersegurança alertam para o facto de os hackers conseguirem espiar qualquer pessoa, através da câmara do seu computador. Recentemente, James Comey, ex-diretor do Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), admitiu, em entrevista ao Business Insider (acesso condicionado), que faz parte do grupo de pessoas que tapam a webcam.
“Coloquei um bocado de fita adesiva na câmara porque vi que alguém, mais inteligente do que eu, tinha uma fita adesiva na câmara do seu computador portátil”, confessou. Mas, quando se fala neste tema surgem duas perspetivas: a dos que já não levantam o ecrã do portátil sem ter lá o adesivo a tapar a e, por outro lado, a dos que acham completamente desnecessário tapá-la.

Found GoPro-camera – memory card intact.
My dad, a mycologist, found an GoPro camera in Gringelstad outside Kristianstad. He found it on the ground in a forest. The memory card was intact – and this is the last film. Are you the right skydiver? Please let me know so we can send you the camera and the memory card.
Update April 4: Camera owner is found. A parachutist in Everöd in Skåne.
The owner of the film is parachutist Tobias Persson.
The D-CAN concept
- Large range zoom stabilized USM lens.
- A ring authorizes the focus correction. The focal is lockable.
- Extension cursor for macrophotography
- The lens cap, impossible to lose, includes an electronic flash and the AF-assist illuminator
- The accessory shoe can receive, besides an electronic flash, a directional microphone or a remote control receiver.
- The cursor “function” allows to choose between fixed views or video, pictures reading, intervallometer and power off.
- Cursor “mode” (program, speed or aperture priority, manual)
- Double key ISO (100 to 6400 ISO).
- Sockets for peripheral: microphone, audio headset, power supply.
- The high-definition back screen is used for the aim, the control and the parameter setting by means of a trackball.
- The system of aim offers two configurations:
- – At the level of eye for a precise centring including right in the sun, with precise control of the focus. The magnifier with diopter adjustment gives an image enlarged of the screen.
- – Directly on the directional back screen having raised the magnifier.
- The back block of aim revolves to give access to the memory card, USB and HDMI connectors and energy compartment.
- The lithium battery can be replaced in case of necessity by a set of AA size battery.
- The release button pushed at the halfway mark locks the focus and the exposure.
- Maintained pushed it allows continuous photo mode.
- The function of thumb wheels differs according to the mode:
- – Thumb wheel 1: exposure correction(P, Tv, Av) or choice of the aperture (M).
- – Thumb wheel 2: program shift (P), choice of the shutter speed (Tv, M), of the aperture (Av).
